The support we received was less than stellar: they spent days trying to figure out why “pretty permalinks” weren’t working. After a quick Google search we realized that they were hosting our site on a Windows server even though we were supposed to be running on a Linux server.

Instead of moving the content to another server on their network, we switched companies… and then again… and few more times after that.

Between downtime, slow page loads and the language barrier, we finally gave up on other hosting companies. We brought all of our websites (and our clients) in-house. It made troubleshooting problems easier, pages load faster and we all speak English. When we’re responsible for the server, everything magically stays up and running. Who would’ve thought? We also use Mac hardware… it just works.
